DRAGON BALL SUPER EPISODE 128: "NOBLE PRIDE TO THE END! VEGETA FALLS!!" REVIEW

The only hope of the universe 7 is now Goku and Vegeta. These two heros of Dragon Ball Super are already broken, but not defeated yet. Episode 128 of DBS is about their unending resolve and how each draws from their values differently to fuel their power. Not all the story moments hit their mark, but those that did had such a great impact that their ramifications will be felt for many episodes to come.

Vegeta The Prince of all Saiyans has fallen with all his pride. The Tournament of Power has offered great opportunities to invigorate interest in other characters outside of Goku. Having Goku fall and someone else save Universe 7 would have been a drastic but welcome shift away from the norm that’s been established. Vegeta has had many outstanding moments over the years, but he hasn’t had his time to shine as the hero.

It was always Goku's job to finish the ennemie after that all other characters were in a losing moment. The only exception was the legendary moment of Gohan when he was allowed finally to break the rule and kill Cell.
It's shame that Dragon Ball Super didn't use this oppportunity to elevate the value of Vegeta and to put it in the same level as Goku.
